Who are we? 

Amena's (a-meen-as) Sea Minerals.

History: Lesley Cocker took over the running of what was Amena's Health Centre in December 2009, with her then husband Ian Thomson, as Gerry Amena was stepping back, after all he was 84! Unfortunately Gerry passed away in January 2010 a mere six weeks later. Lesley and Ian continued to run the business, officially buying it from Gerrys son in 2014. In 2015 Ian left the marriage and the country.  Lesley, understanding that many people relied on these products, decided to continue as the force behind Amena's Sea Minerals, just as Gerry would have wished.

Today: Lesley has overcome many obstacles to continue Amena's Sea Minerals, not the least was the selling of the farm where the business was based. Now, with her all woman team, Lesley is proud to grow herbs, manufacture products, liase with customers and suppliers ensuring that the wonderful products formulated by the founder Gerry Amena are still available to all who would purchase them. Lesley holds a Diploma in Cosmetic Chemistry, and is ready for more study. She believes whole heartedly that Mother Nature provides the answers to good health in many forms. She loves to research and she is not stopping anytime soon!

Gerry Amena founded and formulated the Sea Mineral Products back in the '80's so they have been available for over 40 years now!
