Small Flowered Willow Herb (Epilobium Parviflorum)

This pretty pink herb has been used for hundreds of years to bolster bladder and prostate health. Particularly BPH benign prostatic hydroplasia. Maria Treben, the Austrian herbalist, said that the information for using Small Flower Willow Herb had been passed down from her Mother.  Maria wrote a very informative book called Health through God’s Pharmacy (ISBN 978-3-85068-773-7) where she shares anecdotal experiences. It was still mentioned in an old Pharmacopeia in 1880 and is well known as a folk medicine.  Research is ongoing as to why this herb may help with not only BPH but also nocturnal urinary frequency.

A pleasant tasting tea can be partaken either hot or cold and/or with lemon and honey 1-2 times per day. Once before breakfast and again before the evening meal.

Thanks for the Epilobium Tea

I have been taking two glasses a day for a bit over 14 months now. I still have to get up two or three times a night to empty my bladder, though it is a better continuous flow and I don't have that unfinished feeling. I make the tea stronger than was originally recommended, I feel I get better results in my case. My partner also notices the difference in my interest in her..Woo Hoo..Forever Young
